DIGISALOON MASTER TERMS OF SERVICE, PRIVACY POLICY, AND OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES

Last System Audit: June 18, 2026

Welcome to Digisaloon. This master legal repository constitutes a binding, electronic agreement between you (the "User", "Merchant", or "Visitor") and the Digisaloon Corporate Entity. These clauses regulate the access, deployment, account creation, transactional loops, and booking schedules initiated via our mobile applications, web portals, and associated application programming interfaces (APIs). Please review these terms with exhaustive diligence.

Section 1 / Legal Definitions Glossary

Throughout this operational document, the following specialized terms shall carry explicit definitions as described below:

"Platform" Refers systematically to the Digisaloon mobile iOS/Android applications, internal server microservices, databases, website architectures, and operational nodes.
"Merchant Partner / Salon Partner" Represents any third-party brick-and-mortar salon, spa, micro-styling studio, independent freelance beautician, or grooming outlet registered on the system to offer services.
"Confirmed Booking" An electronically authorized time-slot locked by a User at a selected Merchant location, confirmed by a unique alphanumeric transaction ticket generated by our backend.
"No-Show Status" A state triggered automatically when a User fails to show up at the physical venue of the Merchant within fifteen (15) minutes of their scheduled time.

Section 2 / Comprehensive Privacy Policy & Data Protection

2.1 Nature of Information Collection

Digisaloon collects both Personal Information and Non-Personal Information to provide a seamless digital salon booking experience.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

This includes, but is not limited to, your full legally recognized name, primary mobile/telephonic contact number, active email address, calendar availability, gender, and profile images.

Technical and Usage Analytics

We automatically collect data related to your device architecture, IP address, device operating system version, browser type, internal app navigation paths, duration of platform usage, and crash logs.

2.2 Device Permissions and Access Authorities

  • Geographical Location Data (GPS/Network-based): The App tracks and accesses your location parameters to isolate, sort, filter, and display the optimal neighborhood salon partners within your immediate vicinity.
  • Camera Subsystem Access: Required exclusively for capturing immediate photographic data to modify user account avatars or attaching media files to public-facing review modules.

2.3 Telecommunication, SMS, and WhatsApp Marketing Consent

By executing the registration process on the Platform, the User explicitly grants an irrevocable communication mandate to Digisaloon to deliver high-frequency automated transactional notifications, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), administrative system warnings, algorithmic reservation reminders, and promotional or loyalty marketing collateral. This communication consent expressly supersedes any registration or preference active on national "Do Not Disturb" (DND) registries.

2.4 Data Retention and Absolute Account Deletion Rights

In full conformity with global application marketplace standards, Users possess complete sovereignty over their data. Users can initiate a binding data purging request inside the interface via Settings > Account Options > Delete Account, or by writing to support@digisaloon.com.

Section 3 / Terms and Conditions of Platform Use

3.1 Age Restriction and Parental Guarantees

The Platform is engineered exclusively for individuals possessing full legal capacities to execute contractual covenants. The minimum age eligibility threshold to access or initiate a basic consumer profile on the Digisaloon Platform is explicitly set at 13 years of age.

3.2 Intermediary Status and Absolute Limitation of Liability

Digisaloon functions strictly and solely in the legal capacity of a digital marketplace and technological intermediary under the provisions of the Information Technology Act. Digisaloon does not own, run, manage, style, control, or operate any brick-and-mortar salon storefronts, spa facilities, or physical beauty establishments. The actual service contract is a direct horizontal transaction executed solely between the end-consumer and the independent salon partner.

3.3 Proprietary Intellectual Property Protections

All content structural modules present within the Platform—including, but not limited to, the corporate name "Digisaloon", specific brand color themes, interface design layout, icon pack arrangements, digital banners, marketing text strings, source codes, database structures, and underlying algorithmic logic—constitutes the absolute intellectual property of Digisaloon.

Section 4 / Merchant Partner & Salon Compliance Code

This section governs the strict baseline operating standards required from all onboarded Salon Owners and independent service merchants:

  • Pricing Integrity Policy: Merchants are strictly forbidden from charging users fees higher than the rates listed on the Digisaloon application for any specific slot. If a merchant manipulates rates at the counter, their commercial account will face immediate penalty clawbacks or temporary de-platforming.
  • Slot Adherence Guarantees: Onboarded salons must keep the booked time-slot available for the Digisaloon user. Making a mobile app user wait for more than thirty (30) minutes past their confirmed booking schedule constitutes an operational breach and impacts the salon's partner quality rating.

Section 5 / Cookie Architecture, SDKs, and Tracking Technologies

To continuously monitor app performance, track system crashes, and improve search speeds, the Platform embeds specialized software deployment toolkits:

Technology Type Primary Operational Purpose Data Handled
Core Session Cookies Maintains user session authorization state across screen switches. Encrypted session tokens
Firebase SDK Nodes App crash telemetry reporting and instant OTP tracking pipelines. Hardware specs, crash traces
Map Interface Engine Plots salon store coordinates relative to user location. Latitude and Longitude values

Section 6 / Payment & Financial Transaction Architecture

To maximize consumer convenience, Digisaloon offers a hybrid payment settlement matrix split across two distinct payment pathways:

Pathway A

Pay at App (Online Pre-Payment)

Users can choose to clear their financial bills completely at the moment of reservation using integrated digital pipelines including Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Net Banking networks, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or pre-funded App Wallets.

Pathway B

Pay at Salon (On-Site Settlement)

Users can book a dedicated time-slot on the app without any initial financial commitment and choose to clear their ultimate bill directly at the physical salon desk upon service completion.

Section 7 / Digisaloon Wallet Rules & Loyalty Protocols

7.1 Classification of Internal Wallet Assets

Loaded Money (Real Fiat Currency) Capital voluntarily deposited or transferred into the wallet by the user via online banking methods to perform fast bookings.
Promotional Credits (Incentives) Artificial loyalty incentives digitally granted by the platform during marketing drives, account setup bonuses, or friend referral schemes.

7.2 Definitive Expiry Thresholds

Loaded Money deposited directly by users remains active permanently and does not expire. Promotional Credits carry a strict validity lifecycle of 90 calendar days from the exact date of deposit.

Section 8 / Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events Liability Insulation)

Digisaloon shall stand completely insulated from any operational faults, performance failures, booking drops, transactional failures, or delays if such events stem from a Force Majeure Event. This includes, but is not limited to: Acts of God, sudden government regulatory lockouts, municipal orders, public strikes, civil unrest, city-wide internet routing failures, severe power grid collapse, lightning damage, or local weather blockades affecting merchant outlets.

Section 9 / Cancellation, No-Show, and Refund Architecture

9.1 Definitive Free Cancellation Threshold Window

Users can cancel any scheduled appointment through the self-service app interface without incurring any financial penalty, provided the cancellation occurs at least 2 hours prior to the designated appointment time.

9.2 Financial Penalty Matrices for Late Cancellation and No-Shows

For "Pay at App" Reservations: If a user cancels a booking with less than two (2) hours remaining until the scheduled appointment, or completely fails to report at the salon venue, Digisaloon and the merchant reserve the right to deduct up to 50% of the advance payment amount as a late cancellation penalty.

Section 10 / Legal Framework & Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law and Territorial Jurisdiction: This Master Policy document, the corporate relationship, and any legal conflicts arising between the User and Digisaloon shall be governed strictly according to the Federal Laws of the Republic of India. Any litigation, consumer court complaints, or legal notices must be filed exclusively within the territorial legal courts located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
